I love glazed ham for an easter celebration because it reminds me of my childhood. this simple glazed ham with orange marmalade couldn’t be easier to make. grab a spiral sliced ham or slice your own- then top it with this sweet and vibrant glaze. you can’t go wrong with this recipe to impress your guests and please everyone who’s dining.

the inspiration:
easter was always a busy holiday when I ran my organic grab & go and meal delivery businesses. one year, I did a similar glazed ham recipe and our customers just raved about it. we stocked our shelves with the orange marmalade glazed ham, potato salad, pesto pasta salad, citrus tiramisu, gf coconut tres leech and deviled eggs. they were happy memories and everything was so tasty. I hope you try this one!

glazed ham ingredients:
- uncured boneless or spiral cut ham: my favorites are from Niman Ranch and DaBecca Foods.
- Jarred orange marmalade: you can also use apricot preserves to keep refined sugar-free.
- aromatics: fresh ginger, garlic and white wine are added to the orange marmalade to enhance the glaze.
- fresh orange: we use zest and juice to add a pop of freshness.
- whole grain mustard: adds dimension to the dish.
- fresh thyme: adds flavor and a beautiful garnish.
- edible flowers: set the main course apart for a holiday celebration.

how to make:
Begin by slicing your petite ham if you didn’t purchase a spiral sliced ham. Set aside shingled in a baking dish with a lip. Preheat oven to 275 degrees.
Add spiral ham or sliced ham that you’ve shingled to baking dish. Cover with foil and bake to warm through, while making the glaze. You’ll want to bake your ham around 10 minutes per pound.
Meanwhile, make the Orange Marmalade Glaze. Add all ingredients to a small saucepan over low heat and whisk until bubbling and thickened by 1/3, about 10-15 minutes. Set aside.
after ham has warmed through, remove from oven and turn heat up to a LOW broil. remove foil and brush the glaze all atop the ham and in between the slices and crevices. low broil on the top rack, (watching closely), until glaze begins to caramelize, about 7-10 minutes. Serve warm with side dishes and rolls. Enjoy!

menu planning ideas:
here are some meal planning options to pair with the glazed ham:
- easter brunch: pair glazed ham with my cacio e Pepe deviled eggs, my fancy wedge salads with parmesan truffle dressing, my caramelized leek, ham and asparagus strata, my paleo pear berry muffins and fruit salad.
easter dinner: pair glazed ham with my assembly-only relish tray, my grapefruit avocado salad, herb butter asparagus & purple potatoes, and my strawberry raspberry shortcakes.
