So during the busiest season, you’re actually doubling the stress load. I did this way too many holiday seasons- especially in the slums of holiday caterings in the food industry🫠 Taking it out of the equation gives your brain and body space to calm, reset and actually enjoy the people in front of you. I’ve found that the the less I drink, the more capacity I have. I’m more patient, more present and more joyful🩷 The holidays feel lighter when my nervous system isn’t constantly recovering from relying on it. What about you? Has cutting out alcohol helped you over the holidays? Is it something you are wanting or needing to try?

Do we need a reel about this one? My 4YO gobbles it down. 🍫Paleo Chocolate Orange Cupcake- on my website! 🌮Leftover Pot Roast Tacos- shred up any leftover pot roast for an easy taco night. Fresh guacamole is a must! 🍊Homemade Cranberry Sauce- I love extra minced ginger, tons of orange juice/zest, maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg and coconut sugar in my version. 🍝Leftover Bolognese with GF Penne and an Apple Avocado Salad. Why is bolognese so much better the next day?! 🥔Cal’s Meatloaf with Smashed Sage Potatoes- this is the most epic meatloaf recipe ever- you can find it in my first eBook on my website. 🥙Easy Ground Beef Stir Fry with Green Beans & Cashews- should I write up a recipe for this? 🥗Hot Dog Salad- after baking all day, I certainly wasn’t cooking. So, broiled @applegate hot dogs with organic greens, apples, avocado and @tessemaes ranch it was. Yum. 🎃GF/DF Pumpkin Pie from local @peoples_rx and @blissfulbuns_atx with fresh nutmeg. So yum! 🥪Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich- messy and absolutely delish served on @baseculture grain-free bread. 🌈Grain-Free Protein Brownies with Dye-Free Sprinkles-I used the @simplemills Almond Flour Brownie Mix with two scoops of @just.ingredients Chocolate Protein with some dye-free sprinkles. 🥬Paleo Copycat P. F. Changs Lettuce Wraps- the recipe from @40aprons is similar to what I did- I used organic ground turkey. 🍊Chocolate Orange Bulletproof Latte- I add in this insane seasonal Chocolate Orange Protein Powder from @just.ingredients to my Salted Maple Bulletproof Latte recipe and it’s amazing. Gluten-Free Peppermint Brownie Bites- dropping this week✨ Brown Butter Banana Chocolate Chunk Loaves (GF/grain-free/sweetened naturally)- I tripled the Paleo Banana Bread Recipe from @downshiftology and browned my butter, added roughly chopped @enjoylifefoods chocolate chunks and omitted the banana garnish for more chocolate chunks and dye-free @gosupernatural Christmas sprinkles. 💆‍♀️Supporting my vagus nerve with cold water, humming, long exhales- it works instantly. 
🥂Reducing alcohol because clarity > coping. Nothing has supported my healing and energy more. 
🍽️Nourishing my body through food: protein, fiber, whole foods, blood-sugar balancing meals. 🏋🏼‍♀️Daily movement to move emotions, not just muscles.
