They respond to the life you’re living. Now at almost 41, I realize this is fundamental to aging and all the hormonal changes that begin to happen. Chronic stress raises cortisol. Under-fueling disrupts thyroid and reproductive hormones. Muscle loss impacts insulin sensitivity. Poor sleep alters appetite and metabolic hormones. Healing mine looked less like “trying harder” and more like supporting the systems that regulate them: light☀️, nourishment🥩, muscle💪🏻, boundaries❌ and deep rest🌙 Your body is always adapting.
