I did this way too many holiday seasons- especially in the slums of holiday caterings in the food industry🫠 Taking it out of the equation gives your brain and body space to calm, reset and actually enjoy the people in front of you. I’ve found that the the less I drink, the more capacity I have. I’m more patient, more present and more joyful🩷 The holidays feel lighter when my nervous system isn’t constantly recovering from relying on it. What about you? Why is bolognese so much better the next day?! 🥔Cal’s Meatloaf with Smashed Sage Potatoes- this is the most epic meatloaf recipe ever- you can find it in my first eBook on my website. 🥙Easy Ground Beef Stir Fry with Green Beans & Cashews- should I write up a recipe for this? 🥗Hot Dog Salad- after baking all day, I certainly wasn’t cooking. So, broiled @applegate hot dogs with organic greens, apples, avocado and @tessemaes ranch it was. Yum. 🎃GF/DF Pumpkin Pie from local @peoples_rx and @blissfulbuns_atx with fresh nutmeg. So yum! 🥪Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich- messy and absolutely delish served on @baseculture grain-free bread. 🌈Grain-Free Protein Brownies with Dye-Free Sprinkles-I used the @simplemills Almond Flour Brownie Mix with two scoops of @just.ingredients Chocolate Protein with some dye-free sprinkles. 🥬Paleo Copycat P. F. Changs Lettuce Wraps- the recipe from @40aprons is similar to what I did- I used organic ground turkey. 🍊Chocolate Orange Bulletproof Latte- I add in this insane seasonal Chocolate Orange Protein Powder from @just.ingredients to my Salted Maple Bulletproof Latte recipe and it’s amazing.
