October Lunchbox Roundup🥪🍎🧃

Here’s a roundup of some of my son’s fave lunchbox options lately- he’s 3.5 years old. I try to prioritize protein, fiber, healthy fats and complex carbohydrates along with all foods made from real foods.

As a family, we avoid food dyes, refined sugar and HCFS and we choose single ingredient foods or packaged foods made from all real food ingredients. My son has been a bit more selective since turning 3, so I’ve been needing to get a bit more creative. For example, he used to love turkey sandwiches and now he’s not into them😅

I served these at my Autumn Tea Bridal Shower and they were such a huge hit. They are also perfect for Halloween school treats or teacher’s gifts.

In my opinion, a homemade Rice Krispie treat is hard to beat. I’ve taken this nostalgic treat and added an autumn twist with a naturally-sweetened maple caramel sauce, caramelized apples, warming spices, classic marshmallows and sprouted brown rice puffs.

These Salted Caramel Apple Rice Krispies are truly a trip back to your childhood. Everyone will love them and they will disappear before the halloween candy!

7am:
Warm Lemon Water
Pastured Scrambled @vitalfarms Eggs cooked in Pastured Butter
My Protein Bulletproof Latte with @just.ingredients Salted Caramel Protein Powder has been my JAM this month.
Supplements & filtered water with electrolytes.

11:30am snack:
@chomps meat stick
Unpeeled organic rainbow carrot (to help balance hormones)
Castelvetrano olives
Brazil Nuts (also to help with hormones)

1pm:
Leftover Sheet Pan Chicken Shwarma with Creamy Tahini Sauce from @themodernproper. I made wraps with @sietefoods almond flour tortillas, fresh avocado, cucumber and they were amazing. Could eat every day for lunch!

6pm:
Shaved Carrot, Arugula & Heirloom Tomato Salad with a Hot Honey Vinaigrette
Semi-Homemade Enchilada Casserole with @sietefoods enchilada sauce, grass-finished ground beef and veggies, organic black beans and raw grated cheddar with scallions.

7:30pm:
A leftover Paleo Tahini Chocolate Chunk Blondie from an @ambitiouskitchen recipe. Delish.
