This crowd-pleasing Grain-Free Spaghetti Pie Bake uses your favorite bolognese recipe with a creamy cheese mixture and your favorite spaghetti. No formal recipe on this one- just a little inspiration for a fabulous holiday meal.

add a little of this and a little of that and you have an easy flexible comfort-filled dinner. We served this grain-free spaghetti pie bake for christmas last year and my 22 month old enjoyed four servings.

process:

  • Make or buy your favorite bolognese or pasta sauce, (I cooked up a bolognese with mixture of pastured ground beef/pork, veggies, tons of garlic & my favorite store-bought marinara).
  • Whisk your favorite cheeses in a bowl, (I used a mixture of ricotta, grated Parmesan, a few splashes of cream and shredded mozzarella).
  • Boil your favorite pasta, (I used cappellos grain-free linguine). Toss with your creamy cheese mixture and reserved pasta water until super creamy. Season with s&p and some fresh grated nutmeg.
  • Layer your bolognese & creamy pasta mix in a 9×13 casserole dish. Bake at 375 for 15 min, add some more shredded cheese atop, bake an additional 10-15 min until bubbling.
  • Garnish with fresh basil and serve with a salad. my greek salad with pistachios would be delicious paired with this!
