Needing some holiday decor inspiration but running short on time? Here are five fast and fab holiday decor tip to elevate your home for the season.
stretch your florals:
Stretch your fresh flower budget by splitting up 1-2 bouquets amongst a few smaller arrangements. I used a bouquet of pink roses and bouquet of garden speedwell split up amongst three arrangements in the powder room, by the bar, or in a seating area, (shown).
rethink the wreath:
Wreaths aren’t just for hanging on the front door! Utilize a decorative wreath as a dining table centerpiece to add visual interest and height to your holiday table.
add a decorative garnish:
Sugared Cranberries are the simplest garnish to add a festive touch to holiday desserts, cocktails and charcuterie boards. Simply boil your cranberries, drain then toss with coconut or turbinado sugar. Allow to dry and let the decorating began!
Add the unexpected:
Shake up your ideas about typical floral arrangements! Utilize unique plants to create an unexpected twist to holiday florals. Garden Speedwell mixed with Winter Thistles yield a festive look with a modern touch.
Add functional decor:
A simple decorative tray with champagne glasses filled with pomegranate seeds or sugared cranberries act as a functional centerpiece around the bar. It’s striking to the eyes and easy for guests to fill their own drinks. You can also add a small bowl of my maple sage-spiced macadamias and your guests will be in heaven.
