Vibration Plate: If you already have the basics do Vibration Plate: If you already have the basics down, (daily movement, lymphatic detox, strength training), a vibration plate can be a great addition for enhanced lymphatic draining, faster recovery, flexibility and balance.

Making a double batch of dinner: this is such a simple way to improve your week and lower anxiety. Eat the leftovers for a second dinner, for lunches or freeze for another week.

Toy Organization/Rotation: this helps with overstimulation for both me and my 4.5 year old.

Back to my Detox Routine: I’m back to my 40 min sauna sessions- twice a week. It helps me sleep like a rock, and get rid of excess toxins.

Nightly Bone Broth Hot Chocolate: a simple & delicious way to end the day with functional mushrooms, bone broth and organic cacao to help with sleep and satiety.

Clean kiddo lunchbox snacks: we love @skoutorganic and they have been a great and delicious way to shake up lunchbox snacks.

Non-toxic cookware & silicone bags: getting organized in the kitchen has made meal prep for the new year *so much easier.”

Cleaner Valentine’s treats: I found the perfect cleaner and dye-free Valentine’s options at Target and Sprouts this year.

Non-Toxic Body Spray: I’m obsessed with this new body spray from @henryrose. I also adore their non-toxic fine fragrances.

Simple & clean laundry routine: I’ve been loving @getcleanpeople lately for essential oil scented laundry and minimal packaging.

My newest sweet treat obsession: I have been loving the new @drinkolipop Shirley Temple- it tastes just like my childhood fave without the dyes, HFCS and refined sugars.

Adding in more steps: I have added in a second walk to help boost my daily movement and I’ve already noticed even deeper sleep!

Focus on my nightly routine: I’ve been prioritizing focusing on my nightly routine of skincare, red light therapy and facial cupping or gua sha.

2026 Vision Board: I’m putting my trust in God and the universe for what’s to come. Did you make one this year?

Stop serving champagne with dark chocolate. The ch Stop serving champagne with dark chocolate. The chocolate overpowers it. Dry champagne loves less-sweet foods; save sweeter wines for sweeter desserts.

Don’t panic if strawberries look sad. They’re out of season. Poached pears or a citrus dessert are sexier and seasonal.

Use butter unapologetically. It’s Valentine’s Day. This is not the moment for restraint.

Warm plates = instant restaurant energy.
Five minutes in a low oven makes everything feel elevated.

Buy and cook your own steak. Great steaks only need liberal salt and pepper.

Prep earlier than you think you need to. You deserve to enjoy the night too.

Salt + fat are champagne’s best friends. Think butter, cheese, crispy things, and anything lightly fried.

Dessert doesn’t need baking. Whipped mascarpone + citrus + honey = low effort, high payoff.

Cook one thing really well. A perfectly executed dish is sexier than a chaotic three-course meal. If you’re stressed, simplify the menu.

Many moms (including myself), have cut back on alc Many moms (including myself), have cut back on alcohol and reach for “plant gummies” instead-especially to unwind, sleep or take the edge off anxiety. I ended up finding out the darker side of them about 8 months ago and decided they were definitely not helping me like I thought they were…

Here’s what many don’t realize:
🍃plant gummies (and alcohol too) has a biphasic effect on the nervous system.

A small amount can feel calming at first…but regular or higher use can increase anxiety, irritability and sleep disruption over time.

🧠It also affects your brain long term and can put you at higher risk for a cardiac event. @doc_amen has alot of info on his page about this✨ This made regular use a hard no for me.

Why?
• 🍃 plant gummies stimulate the amygdala (the brain’s fear center)
• It can blunt your body’s natural stress regulation
• It may fragment sleep, raising next-day cortisol
• When it wears off, anxiety can rebound harder

So instead of calming the nervous system, it can quietly keep it stuck in a stressed loop. It just means your body might be asking for true regulation, not numbing.

This doesn’t mean gummies are “bad” or that you did anything wrong. Will I still take a gummy for a fun mom’s weekend away? Sure. But repeated use is not for me.

Have you heard about the long term effects of 🍃 gummies? What do you lean toward to relax?
