Stock your fridge like your future self is tired a Stock your fridge like your future self is tired and busy (because she likely is).

Keep a running list on your phone of 10 meals everyone eats: rotate instead of reinventing the wheel.

Double protein when you make a meal- tomorrow’s lunch is done.

Shop the perimeter of the grocery store, but don’t ignore high-quality packaged staples.

Wash and prep produce right away so it actually gets eaten.

Keep one “always ready” veggie: baby carrots, cucumbers, sugar snap peas, or frozen green beans.

Put sauces and dips on the table- kids eat more when they can dip.

Batch cook breakfast proteins on the weekends (egg muffins, protein pancakes, hard-boiled eggs) to reduce morning stress.

Use sheet pan dinners once a week- protein + veg + fat + seasoning, done.

Make sure to always have at least *one* prepared freezer meal locked and loaded in case the week turns sideways or someone gets sick.

For me, it all started after losing my dad 3 years For me, it all started after losing my dad 3 years ago and then life really snowballed after that.

Closing down my businesses, unexpected infertility, generational trauma and perpetual fight or flight. That real *strength*I had to dig deep to find in those years while raising our son? It *softened* me.

It involved things I hadn’t really prioritized before like…setting boundaries without guilt, choosing nourishing foods to thank my body, slowing down instead of proving something, feeling my emotions instead of numbing them and showing up calmly, not reactively.

I’ve also started to realize that the more I healed, the more grounded I became, gentler *and* more powerful.

So, like I said. You don’t have to pick one version of yourself. You’re allowed to be both. Soft and strong🌸💪🏻 Do you agree?

hi

I love telling a story through my food and representing other cultures, layering color and texture as well as nourishing my body in the process.
