Brown Butter Banana Chocolate Chunk Loaves (GF/grain-free/sweetened naturally)- I tripled the Paleo Banana Bread Recipe from @downshiftology and browned my butter, added roughly chopped @enjoylifefoods chocolate chunks and omitted the banana garnish for more chocolate chunks and dye-free @gosupernatural Christmas sprinkles.

Christmas Sugar Cookies- but let’s make them more nourishing🌈

There is so much pressure in both the wellness and the mom world especially during Christmas. 

I’m here to make your life a little easier with a Christmas Sugar Cookie line up complete with a paleo recipe that worked great for us as well as my rundown on a refined sugar-free icing with dye-free colors and sprinkles. 

🍪Cookie Recipe: Easy Paleo Sugar Cookie recipe from @erinliveswhole. I doubled the recipe and divided them into equal mounds in plastic wrap to chill the 30 minutes as designated in her recipe. 

🧑‍🍳Pro tip: shape the dough into a rectangle before chilling so it’s easier to roll out afterwards.

🤍Icing Recipe: I doubled the icing recipe from the same cookie recipe but subbed @lakanto Monkfruit powdered sugar instead. I also added a splash of vanilla extract. This powdered sugar is sweeter than “normal” so I used less. 

Next, I divided the icing within 5 small ramekins and mixed each color. Light blue, purple, light green, dark green and pink with the @watkins.1868 Food Coloring set with No Artificial Dyes.
