Seasonal, whole ingredients beat any supplement or Seasonal, whole ingredients beat any supplement or superfood powder.

Hurt people hurt people…and healed people heal people. I get to decide which one I hand down.

My daily sunrise hilly weighted walk solved about 95% of my probs.

Prioritizing gratitude regardless of other life circumstances has changed me as a person.

Feeding your kids well and feeding them food they’ll actually eat are not mutually exclusive.

Restaurant technique belongs in home kitchens (you don’t need fancy to eat well.)

“Because I said so” was never a reason. Kids deserve the why.

Yes, your dull knife is majorly slowing you down.

Food is medicine, and what’s on your plate does more for your mood and energy than most people admit…

Do we need a Part 2?🫶🏻✨
RECIPE 🍎☕️🍏 12 oz cold brew 1/2 cup milk, I used RECIPE 🍎☕️🍏

12 oz cold brew
1/2 cup milk, I used @threetreesfoods pistachio milk
1 serving plain protein powder
Dehydrated apple chips & ceylon cinnamon, to garnish

Apple Date Purée🍎
1 cup honeycrisp apples, diced
½ cup dates (about 6 pitted dates)
Pinch of mineral salt
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon ceylon cinnamon
1 Tablespoon maple sugar or syrup
1.5 cup filtered water

To make Apple Date Purée, add all ingredients to a small saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes until apples have softened and dates have disintegrated. Carefully blend mixture in the blender and chill completely.

To prepare coffee drink, fill a large glass with ice and add cold brew. To a small cup, add milk, protein powder, 2 spoonfuls of Apple Date Purée and a dash of cinnamon. Froth together and then pour over iced cold brew. Garnish with dried apple chips, sprinkle with more cinnamon, stir and enjoy!

Purée can keep in a mason jar in the fridge for a week!🍎👏🏻 it’s also fabulous added in banana bread or muffins.
The perfect way to utilize those end of summer tom The perfect way to utilize those end of summer tomatoes with a cozy & nourishing GF pasta dish. Comment RECIPE and I’ll send it over🍅🍝
Your cookies would taste twice as deep if you brow Your cookies would taste twice as deep if you browned the butter first. Same butter, five extra minutes, completely different cookie.

Salt enhances flavors- pepper changes the flavor. They are both useful but not interchangeable.

Crowding the pan doesn’t save time. It steams your food, kills your sear and you end up with gray meat nobody deserves.

A splash of vinegar or coffee in your chocolate cake doesn’t taste like either…it just deepens the chocolate.

Salting your eggplant isn’t about bitterness anymore (they bred that out). It’s about pulling water so it actually browns instead of steams.

You’re storing your knives loose in a drawer, then wondering why they’re dull. Every clatter rolls the edge.

Adding sweetener to a savory tomato sauce isn’t cheating…it’s balancing the acidity. A teaspoon does what an hour of simmering can’t.

You’re whipping cold heavy cream in a warm bowl and fighting it the whole way. Chill the bowl and the beaters and it takes half the time.

The goal was never a perfect plate. It was the person across the table who felt cared for. Don’t lose that chasing the plate✨🫶🏻
