Elderberry Kombucha Spritz

I’m currently in my mocktail era and it reminded me of a delicious spritzer I concocted a few years back when I was running our organic grab & go shop. we carried two delicious female-wonder elderberry brands in my shop and I adored them both. I knew my friend grace from way back during tcu sorority rush and she founded the most delicious and nutritious brand: harvest farmacy. this elderberry kombucha spritz is a zero-proof version of your favorite summer spritz and made with nourishing ingredients.

elderberry kombucha spritz ingredients:

  • elderberry syrup: I used harvest farmacy elderberry health tonic for this version and I also adore Cassie green health’s elderberry. the viscosity and flavor density acts as the aperol liquor in this zero-proof spritz.
  • kombucha: the versatility of this recipe means you can use whatever kombucha and sparkling water combinations sound good to you. I used a mint limeade for this flavor but any berry variety, tropical fruit or ginger would be delicious.
  • flavored sparkling water: Waterloo sparkling water is my preference as it doesn’t contain pfas (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) like their competitor brands do.
  • frozen berries: I use frozen berries to act as ice cubes in this spritz.
  • fresh mint: the finishing touch! make sure to rub the mint leaves a bit in your hands to release their fragrance and essential oils.
