Had to jump on this trend 😆 and I know salads w Had to jump on this trend 😆 and I know salads will get the most questions regarding why it’s NOT one of my favorite things. Here’s why…

1. Most restaurants don’t follow the dirty dozen so greens and veggies can be laden with pesticides.

2. Eating a bunch of raw veggies is difficult for the digestive system and can interfere with the gut lining-it can be especially difficult for women with thyroid issues. No, they aren’t “bad,” of course, but focusing more on cooked veggies is gentler for tired & stressed moms with hormonal imbalances.

3. Most salads only contain a 1/2 portion of protein, if that, although they are assumed to be a “healthier” option for many. For me, a whole piece of protein, (at least 6oz) like a bunless burger or grilled chicken with a side of cooked veggies is the better bet and will keep you fuller longer.

What are some of your not so favorite things?🤪 Let me know if you have questions about any others!👊🏻
