My Favorite Pregnancy Meals

What I ate in a day while I was expecting and some of my favorite pregnancy meals to help nourish my growing baby.

Around 38, I finally understood something no one e Around 38, I finally understood something no one explained earlier. Hormones don’t just respond to what you eat. They respond to the life you’re living. 

Now at almost 41, I realize this is fundamental to aging and all the hormonal changes that begin to happen. 

Chronic stress raises cortisol. Under-fueling disrupts thyroid and reproductive hormones. Muscle loss impacts insulin sensitivity. Poor sleep alters appetite and metabolic hormones.

Healing mine looked less like “trying harder” and more like supporting the systems that regulate them: light☀️, nourishment🥩, muscle💪🏻, boundaries❌ and deep rest🌙 

Your body is always adapting. SAVE this when you need some reminders to get things back in balance🫶🏻

SPRING SAMMY DEETS 🌱👇🏻 🍞 a yummy seedy or nutty w SPRING SAMMY DEETS 🌱👇🏻

🍞 a yummy seedy or nutty whole grain (I used @schaerglutenfree multigrain)
🦃 organic @dietzandwatson turkey 
🥑 #alwaysavocado 
🫒 a big glug of @wearebrightland olive oil
🩷 tons of shaved breakfast radishes
🌱 sprouts or Microgreens 

Spread: 
2 T herb goat cheese
2 T pastured butter at room temp
fresh herbs
S&P

Mix spread together and spread equally on sandwich bread slices. Add 4 slices of turkey, 1/2 avocado, olive oil, s&p with radishes and microgreens or sprouts.
