I know this can be a sensitive subject and everyon I know this can be a sensitive subject and everyone’s journey is different, but I wanted to share mine.

I used to be a big wine drinker. Once I hit my 30s, it wasn’t to get drunk- more like I felt I needed it to cope and relax. Turns out that wasn’t true.

I tried drinking fewer nights, smaller pours, but it never stuck, especially when summer rolled around.

Two things finally rewired it for me…and now I’m almost three years without it, without even wanting it:

📖 The Naked Mind: unpacked how much of my drinking was conditioning, not choice. The booked help rewire my brain about it. 

🎙️Huberman Lab “What Alcohol Does to Your Body, Brain & Health:” laid out what alcohol actually does to sleep, stress, recovery and how it raises disease risk. 

Once I listened to the podcast and read the book within a month of each other, quitting stopped being a fight. It just made sense for my health, and the urge disappeared on its own.

If you “should” want to drink less but can’t make it stick- it might not be willpower. It might be what your brain’s been conditioned to believe 🧠

Patriotic Dot Cakes🩵🇺🇸 I used boxed @simplemills Patriotic Dot Cakes🩵🇺🇸

I used boxed @simplemills Grain-Free Chocolate Cake Mix and baked it in an 8x8 pan. Chill well then add serving jar or cup atop and twist down. Push cake down then add frosting up to the top so it’s level. 

I used organic @missjonesbakes vanilla frosting. Finally, dip in a plate with non-pareil sprinkles. I found this dye-free version on Amazon!❤️💙🩵
