Up until three years ago, I drank to unwind and (w Up until three years ago, I drank to unwind and (what I thought) was decompressing… Little did I know that the wine was actually making my anxiety and brain fog even worse and raised my risk for disease. What I do now👇🏻 🌅Step outside barefoot and watch the sunset- grounding my nervous system instead of numbing it. 🧁Bake a sweet & nourishing treat with my 5YO. ☕️Make a bone broth hot chocolate or sleepy mocktail- something to sip that still feels ritualistic. 🧖‍♀️Take a hot shower with eucalyptus and put on cozy lounge clothes. 🧘🏼‍♀️Do a few minutes of gua sha and red light therapy on my neck and lower back for relaxation. 📖Journal what I’m grateful for. 💤Go to bed early and wake up clear-headed (the kind of energy no wine could ever give). I don’t miss the glass of wine. I love who I’ve become without it. What do you do instead of grabbing a glass of wine? Make sure to SAVE if you ever need some ideas if you are wanting to cut back🩷✨
