This is essential for metabolic health and longevity and I show my son how to do the same. He knows, “protein first” 😜 What I look for when making/buying a sweet treat: 🥥healthy fat like coconut or avocado oil (for stable blood sugar + flavor) 🍎real ingredients (so it tastes as good as I feel after) 🍁natural sweeteners like maple syrup that’s lower on the glycemic index Comment SWEETS for some of my nourishing sweet treat recipes and save this for when the craving hits 🍰

Of course, on paper it would have been more acceptable to just keep growing my businesses, stay in the same place and put on a happy face. I’m “behind” again in life and I’m ok with that because the relationship I’ve grown within myself will always be more important than my bank account or business accolades. Who else is “starting over” and rediscovering yourself?✨
