Food is about safety for me. When we nourish ourse Food is about safety for me. When we nourish ourselves with whole, real foods we’re telling our bodies: You are safe. There’s enough. You can rest. Chronic stress, not enough protein or skipping meals can put our bodies into survival mode, spiking cortisol and making it harder to feel calm, energized and strong. But when we eat in a way that supports our blood sugar, hormones and digestion, we regulate our nervous system and signal to our body that all is well🪷 This is why I focus on nourishing meals, not just eating for sustenance.
