Cook Monday’s dinner on Sunday. Your week will sta Cook Monday’s dinner on Sunday. Your week will start off with so much less anxiety. Frozen veggies > sad fresh ones you forget about. They’re already chopped, flash-frozen and nutritionally solid. Cook *half* of the nights you normally cook and *double* the batch. Doubled chicken fajitas can serve as fajita bowls the first night and chicken fajita quesadillas the second night. Breakfast for dinner counts. Eggs, toast, fruit, avocado and done. Sheet-pan dinners save sanity. One pan, high heat, protein + veg + fat = dinner. Cook once, season twice. Make a plain base protein and flavor it differently for leftovers. Make the time to meal prep at least *one thing* on the weekends. You can build up as you get in the habit and see how much it improves your week✨ The freezer is your future self’s best friend. Double recipes and freeze half immediately. Yes, we almost froze🥶😜on this morning walk but it Yes, we almost froze🥶😜on this morning walk but it was still worth it. My son thrives on physical exertion and even notices rare days that I don’t go put my feet in the grass or take my morning walk. You don’t have to be perfect.
You just have to be consistent. The walks you take.
The meals you sit down for.
The way you talk about food, rest and your own body. Those are the lessons for longevity that matter🫶🏻
