Jalapeño Popper Tortilla Pinwheels

These Jalapeño Popper Tortilla Pinwheels are the perfect hearty summer snack or appetizer to share with friends.
Course Appetizer
Servings 8

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup Siete Foods Salsa Cremosa or any green salsa
  • 12 slices deli turkey
  • ¼ cup jarred pimientos drained well
  • 6 tortillas I used Siete Foods Almond Flour
  • 1 cup prepared pimiento cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro chopped finely
  • ¼ cup green onions sliced thinly
  • thin-sliced jalapeños to garnish
  • prepared ranch dressing to serve (I used SideDish Chipotle Ranch)

Instructions

  • To prepare pinwheels, began by slightly warming the tortillas so they wouldn't break apart. You do not want them hot- just slightly warmed.
  • Lay out the tortillas and add a spoonful of salsa on each tortilla, spreading to the edges.
  • Next, add the pimiento cheese in a single layer, followed by deli turkey, pimientos, cilantro and scallions.
  • Beginning at the edge, carefully roll tortillas all the way up.
  • Transfer each roll to a piece of plastic wrap and wrap snugly. Refrigerate until very cold and set- at least 2 hours.
  • To serve, unwrap each roll and slice the ends off. Slice remaining roll into 4-6 equal pieces, depending on how large you want them.
  • Transfer to a serving platter and serve with bottled ranch of your choice for dipping.
